Le Relais De Saint Ser

We accidentally stumbled on Le Relais de Saint Ser and it was a hidden paradise. A beautiful beautiful hotel overlooking the gorgeous fields and with a perfect view of St Victoire. A shoutout to Nico for his hospitality, service and kindness. Staff is amazing, food there is excellent. Rooms are extremely comfortable and well maintained. It was a luxury experience and I hope to return.

What a nice ambience! Great view. Outdoor seating and indoor seating. It’s so beautiful. Staffs speak English as well as attentive and welcoming. Food was fabulous and tasty. Understand and welcoming us and my little boy. Clean and well maintained bathrooms (important point for us with kids). We had the julienne fish rolls with mango sauce for starter to share. So good we had to ask to double it again. Veal with artichoke was fantastic. Pork with caper and onion sauce was delicious. Menu enfant was well prepared with veal and tomato sauce on the side. Chocolate mousse with hazelnuts caramel and the chocolate lava and vanilla sauce. Both were outstanding!! Bravo to the team! We will be back again.

This place is run by incompetents. Where do you use towels? In the bathroom. Where did they put them? By the room door as far from the bathroom as possible. Maybe because there are no usable towel holders for big towels. The little shelf in the shower leans, stuff falls off of it. The shower itself is dangerously slippery. The checkin guy made a point of putting the single key card in the slot by the door. The slot does not control the room electricity, it just makes it easy to forget the key in the room. The keycard does not open the exterior door. You must remebmer a code for that. There are two WiFi networks named for the hotel. The first one to pop up uses a password. It is for staff. The other one does not use a password, the notice that sez that wifi is free does not mention which network to use. Naming them "Privee" and "Client" or some such would have been useful. The WiFi refused to connect in the morning, it was so bad the credit cadr transaction almost did not go through at checkout. There are no curtains or sheers on the terrace door. If you want privacy you have to go outside and close the shutters. This completely darkens the room. The terrace door does not lock, you have to use the shutters for that. The safe is not attached to the cabinet. Quick and convenient one stop shopping for thieves.
